MAOFP is pleased to welcome our attendees back to meeting in person for our 2021 Summer Family Medicine Conference! We are excited to invite you to join us at a first-time location for this event, the brand new Van Dyk Mortgage Convention Center in Downtown Muskegon on Thursday, July 29 - Sunday, August 1. This year's conference offers up to 22 CME credits, including sessions on topics such as dermatology, end of life palliative care and the patient experience.
Our agenda also will include an exhibit hall, poster presentations, the annual membership meeting, MAOFP Summer Fest and our President's Reception sponsored by MSUCOM.
COVID-19 Considerations and Virtual Option
We are currently planning to meet in person for this event and will strictly adhere to all CDC and state and local guidelines for safe meeting and social distancing. While we are greatly looking forward to seeing you in person, MAOFP understands that getting together in person may not work for everyone at this time. MAOFP recognizes that the current COVID-19 situation is constantly evolving, with guidelines for groups and social distancing changing regularly. For these reasons, MAOFP will offer an on-demand virtual option of the conference content two weeks after the conference for those who are not able to attend in person.
MAOFP has a contingency plan to offer the conference live virtually if necessary, and will communicate those plans regarding the planning for this convention with transparency as the health and safety of our members and guests is our top concern. If the conference is only offered virtual, those attendees who registered for the in-person event will be able to transfer their registration to the virtual option or receive a full refund.
